These terms and conditions apply to all Avintura tours and may change without notice. The most current version at the time of your departure will apply.
Booking & Payments
To confirm your booking, a non-refundable reservation fee of €300 per person is required.
In addition, a deposit equal to 30 % of the total trip cost must be paid to reserve your chosen tour. The balance is due no less than 30 days before your arrival date. Payment instructions will be shown on your pro-forma invoice. If full payment is not received by the due date, Avintura reserves the right to treat your booking as cancelled, and cancellation charges will apply.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. PayPal payments may incur a small processing fee. All prices are quoted in euros (€).
Once we receive your reservation fee and deposit, we will issue an official voucher/pro-forma invoice confirming your pre-paid services and reservations.
After full payment, we will send a final voucher/invoice confirming all services as stated in your booking.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, delay,
medical emergencies, baggage and personal-effects loss. You will be offered the option to purchase insurance on your invoice; if you choose not to purchase coverage, you must indicate this in writing. Insurance provides peace of mind and protects your financial investment.
Cancellation Policy
Avintura and our suppliers adhere strictly to the following cancellation schedule. Cancellation charges are per person and apply from the date we receive written notice of your cancellation:
121 days or more before departure: non-refundable fee of €300 per person.
61–120 days before departure: 25 % of the trip cost.
31–60 days before departure: 50 % of the trip cost.
0–30 days before departure: 100 % of the trip cost.
For cancellations made at least 61 days before departure, we will apply your cancellation fees as a travel credit toward a future booking. The credit is valid for one year from the date of cancellation, is non-transferable, cannot be applied to a deposit and is forfeited if unused within that period.
No refunds are issued for unused services or early departures. If Avintura must cancel a trip for reasons unrelated to force majeure (e.g. insufficient participants), you may choose a full refund or transfer your payment to another Avintura tour.
Changes for Scheduled Departures
Requests to change the date or tour of an existing reservation will be accommodated based on availability. If the request is made within 90 days of departure, a minimum €250 per person change fee applies, plus any additional cancellation fees incurred from hotels or other suppliers and any increase in tour price. Only one date change per reservation is permitted.
Changes for Private Tours
Changes to a private tour reservation will be handled on a case-by-case basis. When Avintura can accommodate a change, a minimum €250 change fee per group will apply,
subject to increase depending on the magnitude of changes requested.
Guests are responsible for additional fees from hotels and any increase in tour price.
Itinerary Changes & Cancellations by Avintura
Avintura reserves the right to modify or cancel any tour, itinerary, route, activity or accommodation at any time. While we make every effort to keep changes to a minimum, circumstances beyond our control may require adjustments. In the event of a force majeure—such as natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions or other events beyond our control—Avintura may cancel the tour or change the departure date. If a tour is cancelled due to force majeure, all monies paid will be transferred to a travel credit for a future Avintura trip. We are not responsible for personal expenses incurred due to itinerary changes or cancellations, such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel bookings. We strongly recommend waiting for trip confirmation before arranging additional travel.
Liability & Guest Responsibilities
Participation in our tours involves inherent risks. By booking, travellers acknowledge that they are physically fit for the chosen activities and will follow all instructions provided by our guides. Travellers must sign a liability waiver prior to departure. Avintura is not liable for injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity arising from acts of God, government actions, terrorism, theft, illness, quarantines, strikes or other causes beyond its control. Guests are responsible for obtaining any required travel documents and complying with local laws.
